Terms of Service

By accessing or using TASC — The Apostolic Study Companion ("TASC," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply to all visitors and registered users.

TASC is a Bible study and spiritual growth platform offering scripture reading, search, notes, devotionals, prayer tools, optional AI study aids, and other features. We provide the service on a commercially reasonable basis and may add, change, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscription details, pricing, and trial terms are shown on the Pricing page. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

• Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel them from your Account page or via your billing portal.
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• All payments are final and non-refundable — see the "No-Refund Policy" section below.
• We may adjust pricing with reasonable advance notice for future billing periods.

All subscription payments are final and non-refundable. When you cancel or turn off auto-renew, you retain full access to your paid tier until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Free trials are available for new subscribers only.

By completing checkout you affirmatively agreed to these Terms of Service and this No-Refund Policy before your payment was processed, and that acceptance is recorded. You can download a copy of your policy and acceptance record from the Account page at any time.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to bypass limits, or interfere with its operation.
• Content you create is yours; see the "Your content" section below.

Notes, prayers, highlights, and other content you create remain yours. By posting a public prayer request, you grant other TASC members permission to view and pray for it. You may delete your content at any time. We do not claim ownership of your content; see our Privacy Policy for how it is handled.

Optional AI features can assist study, but they may produce inaccurate or incomplete information. Always verify teaching, references, and doctrine against Scripture. AI output is provided "as is" and should never replace personal study, spiritual discernment, or pastoral guidance.

TASC reflects Apostolic study material and curated resources. Scripture is the final authority. Study notes, devotionals, commentary, and AI responses are offered to support — not replace — your own study and the guidance of your spiritual leaders.

You agree not to:

• Post unlawful, harmful, harassing, or hateful content on public surfaces (e.g., the prayer board).
• Attempt to access, alter, or disrupt systems, data, or accounts that are not yours.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute content in ways that violate third-party rights.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

The TASC name, branding, and original app features are owned by TASC. Scripture text and third-party study resources remain the property of their respective rights holders and are used under applicable licenses (see attributions in the app).

TASC IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content is accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TASC and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, devotional time, or profits arising from your use of the app. Any liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

You may close your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or to protect the service. Upon termination, your right to use the app ends; you may request deletion of your stored content.

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
